Speaking
Going back to my grad school days as a teaching assistant, I have been speaking in public forums for over twelve years. After graduation, I started teaching technology classes both as a client and a consultant. These days, I speak about topics related to technology, organizations, people, and processes.
Examples of specific topics on which I speak include:
- What is Enterprise 2.0?
- The Next Wave of Technologies
- Are we ready? Determining if an organization is ready for a new system
- Business processes and new enterprise systems
- How your organization can maximize the new system’s chance of success
- How to select a new enterprise system
- Implementation strategies and phases
- Intelligent system expansion
- Mid-implementation corrective mechanisms
- Ongoing system maintenance: What to do now that we’re live?
- Reports and interfaces 101
- Selecting implementation partners
- Setup and testing issues during an implementation
- Supporting your new system
- System challenges in a recession
- System optimization: How do we do more with less?
- What kind of system? The make, buy, or rent decision
I also present detailed case studies illustrating many of the principles from my first book. View samples of me in action by clicking here. More are coming in better quality, I promise. Really.
