Web Site Development

From personal experience, I know that an effective web presence stems from two things: meaningful content and a professional, Web 2.0 site. (I used to have the former but not the latter.) Let me redesign your site to increase traffic, stickiness, and interaction.

Crystal Report Development

I have written over 1,000 Crystal Reports and am quite adept at the tool. Check out some of my Crystal Reporting tips here. Many of these reports replace the time-consuming and error-prone manual process of manually cobbling together disparate sources of information.

Application Development

I do a great deal of Microsoft Access and Excel development work. While there are limitations to each tool for large scale data cleansing and profiling projects with more than a few million records, I have for many clients automated previously manual processes, saving them a great deal of time.

Training Material Development

If you are simply looking for training materials, I have created many “how-to” guides with extensive screen shots, examples, and step-by-step instructions. I use screen shots and diagrams liberally to create very user-friendly documents, something that many organizations lack and need in the event that a key employee departs.

Documentation Development

One of the biggest risks for organizations is incomplete or inaccurate documentation. Should an end user exit the organization, others often have to scramble to perform that person’s job. I can fill in the gaps by creating custom documentation of business processes, interfaces, and daily activities that insulate your organizations against many operational risks stemming from employee departures.
